Tips
May Tip--Your dog(s) will live a longer and healthier life, if you brush their teeth daily. Have your vet perform a dental oral exam every 6- to 12-months. To prevent plaque, feed your dog(s) a premium dry kibble. The perfect treats to offer your pet are those recommended by the Veterinary Oral Health Council.
June Tip--When washing your dog between professional grooming visits, make sure you brush and comb your dog's coat thoroughly before bathing. If your dog's coat is tangled or matted, bathing will lock in mats resulting in a possible shave down.
July Tip--I'm hearing about dogs being left in cars. I can't stress this enough. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG(S) IN THE CAR! Vehicles heat up to dangerous temperatures in a matter of a few minutes even when the windows are cracked. Your dog(s) can become over heated and become seriously ill. They could suffer brain damage or even die while waiting for you in your car. Also, if you see a dog or dogs left alone in a parked vehicle, call Animal Control, the police, or dial 911. Try to find the owner and ask managers of nearby businesses to make an announcement. Leave your contact information with the officer(s) at the scene. Do not break into the vehicle.
